As the end of March approaches, I realized that in terms of DOM (Days on the Mountain), this year was by far my worst ever. I got 2 whole days of boarding...

I don't know about you, but that's just pathetic. I have to admit, it is my own fault though... and Colorado's... You see, growing up in the Rockies spoiled me because I know what real mountains are. Now that I live in NY, when people want to 'go to the mountains' and ski, I get all uppity because there are no such things as mountains on the East Coast... maybe hills... if you're lucky.

That being said, next year, I will suck it up and go with my friends to the NY area ski resorts. The alternative is having another year like this one (with only 2 ski days). Time to swallow my Rocky Mountain pride and just enjoy some fun hill skiing out here in the East!

If anyone can suggest a good place for a Rocky Mountain boy to go that will mitigate my disappointment, please let me know!
